Traveling by car via
the Brennerautobahn (A22):
Travel direction South Tyrol.
The fastest route is via the Brennerautobahn.
Taking the exit Brixen/Pustertal
you will travel through the Pustertal towards Bruneck (SS49
- E66). Just before reaching Bruneck (right after you have crossed
the Rienz river) you will take a right
exit, direction Bruneck
WEST, or respectively Tauferer-Ahrntal.
Immediately following this exit follow the road to the left
(bridge underpass) in direction Bruneck.
In the subsequent traffic
circle take the third
exit direction Tauferer-Ahrntal.
About one kilometer down the road take a right and cross the
Ahr river. You are now on the Brunecker Nordumfahrung (northern
by-pass) and arrive at a second
traffic circle, here you
will take the third exit
towards Tauferer-Ahrntal.
You will arrive in Mühlen in Taufers after traveling app.
12 km,
there you will take a left shortly after passing the city limits
towards the Mühlwaldertal.
9.2 km down the road
(shortly after passing through the mountain village Mühlwald)
you will take a right
which will take you directly
to the Grossgasteigerhof.
Traveling by car via Lienz in
East Tyrol (A):
After passing the Austrian-Italian
border, follow the Staatsstrasse
(SS49 - E66) for about 37 km, take the right exit to Bruneck-OST.
Travel another 1.8 km into the city of Bruneck and take a
right at the first traffic
light into the direction Tauferer Ahrntal.
Follow the road and take
the second exit in the traffic circle in direction Tauferer
Ahrntal. You
will arrive in Mühlen in Taufers after traveling app.
12 km,
there you will take a left shortly after passing the city
limits towards the Mühlwaldertal.
9.2 km down the road
(shortly after passing through the mountain village Mühlwald)
you will take a right
which will take you directly
to the Grossgasteigerhof.
