Beautiful sledding courses
are located in the Mühlwald Valley,
as well as Weissenbach (illuminated sledding course Innerhofer Alm
and Marxegger Alm), at the Kottenstegerhof (illuminated sledding course)
in St. Johann and at the Schwarzbachalm (illuminated sledding course)
in Luttach. Ski tours, ice skating, torch ski-runs, horse drawn sleighs, ice climbing, curling, as well as extensive and unforgettable hikes through the snow offer variety. During the whole month of December you can also visit the Tauferer Christmas Village in Sand in Taufers. The townhall is decorated with an Advent Calendar every day, the children have fun while playing the St. Nicholas spectacle and adults will enjoy roasted chestnuts, cookies and hot mulled wine. On the traditional "Marktl" vintage and modern arts and crafts are offered.
