An exhilarating experience
way up high at the high
wire garden St. Johann. At height
between eight and twenty meters
(26-56 ft) and in an area of 3.500
square meters (37660 ft²)
more than 500 meters (1640 ft)

offers in our surrounding: Bouldering in the sport center Sand in Taufers (Informations by Stefan Ties, Tel. +39 347 4864441). The power of water is best experienced while rafting or on canyoning tours, which are organized by the Club Activ (www.rafting-club-activ.com) and by Canyoning Yeti Adventure (www.yetiadventures.info). Horse back riding, horse back trekking and pony rides are offered by Herberts horse yard at the Maurlechenhof in Luttach (www.pferdetrekking.it). Tennis enthusiasts will enjoy 2 beautiful sand courts each at the sports area of St. Johann (Tel. 0474 670139) and the sports area Mühlwald (Tel. 0474 653333). And you will find that culture and tradition are not lacking in the Ahrntal neither - visit the numerous museums in the valley: show mine and asthma tunnel in Prettau, the Mining Museum in Steinhaus, Castle Taufers in Sand in Taufers, Nativity Scene Museum in Luttach, Mineral Museum and Oberkofler Museum in St. Johann, Parsonage Museum in Sand in Taufers or the very popular Folklore Museum in Dietenheim by Bruneck.
